Our first DGFI Meet & Greet at The Lounge was a great success.
This social event enabled us to celebrate year end for the Institute after a busy 2019, and helped us to bring together current and future investigators before we announce the 2020 Seed Fund recipients.
We had more than 40 attendees representing all UNSW Faculties, and it was an opportunity to share achievements, discuss potential project ideas and hatch new collaborations.
After an introduction by Institute Manager, Sharon Swift, we heard from Director Professor Joe Dong and perspectives from a new investigator, A/Prof Donna Green on the importance of a crossdisciplinary approach to her air pollution work in the context of the energy transition.
