We’re delighted to announce the recipients for the UNSW Digital Grid Futures Institute’s 2023 Seed Funding Program.

Jemena, with its project partners AusNet Services and UNSW Sydney, have completed an ARENA funded trial to demonstrate innovative technologies to increase the hosting capacity of DER.

We are excited to announce that seed funding will be available next year, and we are seeking proposals for grants of up to $60,000 for interdisciplinary research projects across 6 research themes.

We were pleased to host an interim knowledge sharing event with partners Jemena and Ausnet Services. The Creating Solar Friendly Neighbourhoods project is funded by ARENA.

We're proud that out of 10 Future Fellowships awarded to UNSW by the Australian Research Council (ARC).

Following a devastating bushfire season, we are actively working on concepts and solutions to avoid such damaging events in future.
